idea

Drive through Latin America: from Los angeles (USA) to Buenos Aires (Argentina). Surfing, teaching and offroading in every country in the Pacific Coast. Being an architect and a future business administrator we want to pass through our knowledge to local kids. By teaching them how to surf and show them that one can be a surfer and a professional at the same time. Showing them different sustainable construction methods to provide them with the means to have a better life quality and show them that a good equilibrium between leisure and professional activity can be achieved.

trip duration

Ten months. The trip starts July 5, 2010 departing from Los Angeles. Our intention is to end the trip in April of 2011, arriving to our home town Buenos Aires (Argentina)

motivation

Since young kids we both surf thanks to our dad, who was one of the pioneers in surfing in Argentina among some other friends in the year 1964. Motivated by the passion of surfing and the ocean, we have been planning this trip for some years and it has been a pending issue in our minds and body.

We will be filiming with an HD camera and be taking shots with a Canon 50D with diferent lenses (300 and 500). We want to get good footage so as to write a book at the end of the trip and prodouce a good documentary.
